Gorgeous! I know, we cant believe how lucky we are to work with such a talented textile designer.
Textiles by Lee has worked her magic with fabric remnants to create this stunning design that also features hand stitched detailing.
Then, over to us to source the perfect salvaged furniture for her design and bring it all together.
A Glastonbury chair is a nineteenth-century term for an earlier wooden chair usually of oak and with wooden dowels instead of screws. The style dates back to a chair made for Richard Whiting, the last Abbot of Glastonbury in 1504.
This chair is likely to be a 19th Century replica of the style and is a lovely example of the Gothic influences of the time.
A padded seat base has been added to give it extra strength and is suitable for occasional or light use.
Has your granny's chair has been sitting there for a while, maybe even in the loft or garage waiting for that day you figure out what to do with it?
Don't throw it out, hand it over to us and ask us to redesign it for you in a style of your choice so it can be pride of place in your home.
Our bespoke service is fully booked for the year 2019 but we we will be accepting new clients from January 2020.
Do Granny proud and email us to book in your old furniture for a revamp.
